About Tide Mill

Practice Approach

At Tide Mill, we embrace the natural ebb and flow of the healing journey. Similar to the rhythmic tides, the path to healing involves phases of progress, setbacks, and steady advancement. Envision the therapeutic journey as the constant rotation of a mill wheel, with us standing by your side, supporting the gradual process of change and growth that unfolds through purposeful and consistent work.

Many of us may be wandering through life unaware of how our experiences, relationships and earliest life events may be impacting on us today. All of these experiences impact on how we think, feel and exist in the world on a daily basis. As a result of trauma, stress, neglect, fearful and embarrassing experiences early on in life we may be living with anxiety, low self-esteem, stress and shame as adults and it can be hard to find meaning and to release old beliefs that no longer work for us.
We aim to create a supportive and explorative space for you to openly address the things that might be holding you back. We can help you to investigate new perspectives, use values-based decision making, find alternative ways to address problems, reframe old stories and beliefs, explore strategies and move towards lasting change.

Registered Therapeutic Counsellor

I am a qualified, registered and trauma trained counsellor. At the heart of my practice is a collaborative and person-centered approach. I view our journey together, as a team effort.

Working together I aim to bring my understanding of human development, theories, research and practical skills into our work together to support you to bring your whole self – your past, your present and your future hopes so we can co-create a safe and explorative space to heal from the stories that keep you stuck.
